PHYSICAL THERAPY
"Where the CORE is the foundation of all movement"
WHAT IS PILATES BASED PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Pilates is the practice of exercises that starts from the center (CORE) of the body in order to restore whole body balanced muscular activation and movement patterns. Working through restoring balance through the system will improve strength, decrease pain, improve functional movement patterns, and give you the ability to return to previous level of function outside of therapy. I will work one-on-one with you in order to work toward your goals in Physical Therapy, and a comprehensive home program will be provided in order to maintain the gains outside of therapy. We will be using pilates equipment in order to complement traditional Physical Therapy techniques.
WHY CHOOSE INTEGRATED PILATES AND PHYSICAL THERAPY?
This is a unique clinical setting in the pilates studio at my home. This is a one-on-one environment for rehabilitation. I have made the decision have no relationship with any insurance, and unfortunately due to Medicare regulations I am unable to see Medicare clients for Physical Therapy currently. Having no relationships with insurance allows me to treat your condition more efficiently and effectively due my time being primarily spent on patient care throughout the day. My goal is to get you better with less visits needed than the larger outpatient clinics that accept insurance currently. Typically I will only need to see you 1x/week in order to address your condition, which will cut down on your time and financial commitment coming to Integrated Pilates and Physical Therapy. Deductibles and co-pays are increasing in health care, and most insurance based clinics will want to see you 2-3 times per week and you get to work with the PT for 20-30 minutes prior to their next patient arriving. (Ex. $30 Copay 2-3x/week is $60-$90 per week for Physical Therapy Treatments, to get to work with the PT for max of 30 minutes one on one.)
